I just wanted to thank you for the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. My first pair was the original Tiddies in light pink I still have them they are over 20 yrs. old I have a new pair of the Pirates and they are just as wonderful however I do miss the name. I am a girl / woman and I think anyone who has a problem with the (Tiddies Sandals) name needs to get a life. Thanks for the great invention. Keep up the good work.

I lived just off Pasadena BLVD not far from your original factory, I was saddned to learn about your copyright loss. Every summer, it was a sort of rite of passage to get a new pair of tiddies, and when the new three layers came out, wow!

I must admit that I have NEVER had a more comfortable pair of sandals on my feet ever. I purchased my first pair of Tiddies in the late 70's. I am grateful I have found them again, however, Pirates aren't quite the same.(Grin)

I grew up in Pasadena, Tx. during the urban cowboy/Tiddie era and have missd them tremendously. I still have photos with them on my feet. Sorry to hear about the issues.....remember, make love not war or we cannot say anything about the war abroad. Love thy neighbor even if they have no love in their heart.

I have been wearing Tiddies since I was a kid in the 70's. First pair I picked up was in Galveston, Tx. at a place called Sunrise Surf Shop. Same place I got my first pair of Birdwell shorts. I still have a pair of Tiddies with original logo as well as a pair of Pirates. I am happy that the Pirates are available. Change is no doubt going to happen in life and this change (the name)is one that we have to accept. Did'nt find out about the name change until the last time I tried to find a pair. Only 2 places here in Austin carry them and REGARDLESS of the price I paid...I got my Tiddies. No matter what name you put on them...they will still be Tiddies!

I feel I have been had, I brought a pair of Teddies a while back thinking the Browns still were making them. Then I fine out the the trademark and the company had nothing to do with the Browns. Sorry about that. I never new Kevin but I truly miss his dad Dr Brown. The next time I buy they will be from the true owner of the name.

Get a life everyone he is a con a liar and a perv.A non tax paying porn addict freak who will never become anything but strange, loud, and stinkie. Yes this is one of his xxxx wives. Don't love this freak. He likes to put innocent women in jail and beats up young girls in front of witnesses. He just can't move on to become the fat looser selling t-shirt at a bar. Oh wait yes he is doing that now.hmmmm guess he got what he deserved after all.

We lived just down the street from the original Tiddie Factory (Austin St) and I worked there as a kid in the summer of '77. There was a hand press in the back of the shop, over by the heat lamps. They would put glue on the top and bottom layers and lay them under the heat lamp until tacky, then put them together. I would then take the sandal, put it into the press and it would mash the new sandal together and make the layers bond better. Kevin paid me a penny a pair and as a kid I was glad to have it. That old factory was HOT in summer and just behind a little store. (where I used to buy Hit Parader, Circus and Creem magazines) Lots of memories working & sweating long summer days back there in the factory, radio blasting rock tunes and fans blowing hot air around. No Xbox or video games for us kids back then. LOL
